No. SR WEBX runs in the browser. Scorers use any modern phone, tablet or computer. Overlays are web links that you add to your streaming software as a browser source.
Any software with a browser source: OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop and vMix (Web Browser input). PRISM Live Studio supports web sources on desktop. See the Supported Streaming Software page for setup steps.
Overlays check for new data every 1–2 seconds and update as soon as a delivery is saved. On typical connections updates appear within about two seconds. It is near-real-time, not frame-accurate.
Limited-overs cricket: T10, T20, 50-over and custom overs, including reduced-overs matches with a manually revised target. Wides, no-balls, free hits, byes, leg-byes, penalty runs, every mode of dismissal, retirements and corrections are supported. Test matches and the DLS method are not part of version 1.
You can assign several scorers. The system prevents conflicting entries: if someone else has just recorded a ball, the other device is asked to refresh before saving.
